Waves Surgicals operates out of Garage No-73 in the Gulabi Bagh Truck Market. It might sound like a strange place for a surgical company, but it is where we have been for a long time. The truck market is a very loud and gritty environment. There is always the sound of engines revving and metal clanking as people work on the big vehicles nearby. Our garage is where we keep our stock and manage the distribution. It’s not a sterile laboratory or a high-rise office. It is a functional space with concrete floors and metal shelving units packed with equipment. We spend our days loading and unloading items, checking invoices, and making sure everything is labeled correctly. The dust is something we just have to live with given the location. We usually wear comfortable clothes because the work can be quite physical. There are a few tea stalls nearby where we get our morning fix, and the people in the truck market are generally friendly once they get to know you. We are just a small crew working in a tough part of town. We don't have a website that looks fancy or a big marketing budget. We just have our space in Gulabi Bagh and a lot of work to get through before the trucks leave for the day. It’s a real, boots-on-the-ground kind of business that doesn't pretend to be anything else.
