Vogue Creations

You can find us at 7/267 Jawahar Street over in Farsh Bazar. We go by Vogue Creations, which sounds a bit fancy, but we are just a small outfit making things. Farsh Bazar is a tight-knit place and the streets can be a little narrow. We have been working out of this space for some years now. Inside, it is mostly rolls of cloth and different patterns hanging on the walls. We do not have a lot of space for extra stuff, so every corner is used for something. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting down Jawahar Street, so we end up carrying things by hand. It keeps us active, I guess. We start early when the air is still a bit cool. There are a few of us who handle the cutting and the sewing. We use some old machines that still work better than the new ones we tried. They make a specific clicking sound that we are all used to. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about our spot. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea during the afternoon break. It is just a normal workday here with its ups and downs. We try to stay focused on what is on the table in front of us. No big secrets, just steady work. Everything takes its own time.
