Vodafone, Delhi

Our Vodafone office in Delhi is located at O/ 38, Lajpat Nagar II. If you know New Delhi, you know that Lajpat Nagar is always packed with people and traffic. It’s a very busy part of the city to work in. Our space is just a regular building on the street. It’s not one of those big glass towers you see in the business districts. We deal with all sorts of things related to the phone service here. Most days involve handling customer queries or sorting out billing issues that come up. The street outside is noisy and there are always vendors and shoppers moving around. Inside the office, it’s a bit more quiet, though it’s far from being a polished corporate space. We have some old desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. The air conditioner works hard during the Delhi summer, which is definitely needed. We don't really do much in the way of decoration. It’s just a functional room where the staff sits and works. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when too many people come in at once with problems, but we just take them one by one. Being in Lajpat Nagar II means we are right in the heart of the action. It’s a practical location for us and for the people who live nearby. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now.
