Vishwakarma Industries

Our place is located in Badli Village, right near the Valmiki Temple. It is a bit of a tight squeeze getting through the narrow streets sometimes, especially when we have a delivery coming in. The workshop is at 43/36 and it’s usually quite active from early in the morning. We do a lot of industrial fabrication and metal work here. You will see sparks flying from the welding torches and hear the grind of the saws most of the time. It is a local operation and many of the people working here live just a few streets away. We don't have fancy signage or a polished lobby. It’s just a practical workspace with raw materials stacked against the walls. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings that we have to sweep up at the end of every shift. In the summer, we keep the big doors open to let some air in, though it doesn't help much with the heat. We deal with various metal projects, mostly making parts or frames for other businesses. It is a gritty job but there is a certain rhythm to it that we all understand. We usually sit outside near the temple for a few minutes during our lunch break to get away from the noise of the machines for a bit. It’s just how we get through the day, working with our hands and keeping the production going.
