About Rawat Export Branded Surplus – Fashion & Trends in Delhi
We operate out of C-100 on Street 8 in West Vinod Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood and Street 8 is one of those spots where you have to be careful walking. Our place is basically a big storehouse for branded surplus. What that means is we get the leftovers from big factory runs. Sometimes a shirt has a tiny thread loose or the tag is slightly crooked, so it ends up with us. We spend a lot of our mornings opening up these massive cardboard boxes and trying to sort them into some kind of order. It’s a lot of bending and lifting. The back room is usually piled high with jeans and t-shirts. We don't have a big fancy showroom with glass windows. It’s more of a walk-in warehouse vibe. People from around Vinod Nagar come by to see what we’ve got. We try to keep the racks full, but it changes every week depending on what truck arrives. My brother handles the deliveries and I stay here to talk to whoever comes in. We’ve got an old desk where we keep the ledger. It’s a bit messy with tea cups and papers. The neighborhood is loud, and we usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It’s a simple business. We don't make a big deal out of it, just sell what comes in and try to keep enough space to move around. It is just the way Rawat Export Branded Surplus works. We are here almost every day except for Sunday afternoons.
