Vertex Switchgear

Our shop is on the first floor, Room 107, over in Lane No. 18 of the New Layal Pur Colony in Krishna Nagar. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in this neighborhood, and parking is always a gamble. Vertex Switchgear is really just a place where we stock and handle electrical switchgear parts. It’s not a huge warehouse, just a couple of rooms filled with shelves. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs and matching up parts for people who come in with broken switches or needs for a new building. It is a lot of technical talk, but we try to keep it simple. The colony is quite crowded, and there is always something going on outside the window. We aren't some big brand with a million-dollar budget. We are just a local business trying to make a living in this part of town. Most of our customers are electricians or people from the neighborhood who know we have the right stuff. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just open up in the morning, check what’s in stock, and help whoever walks through the door. It is a bit dusty and the stairs are narrow, but it’s home for us. We deal with a lot of different suppliers to find the parts we need. Some days the shop feels very small when we get a big shipment in and we have to stack everything up to the ceiling before we can sort it.
