You can find us at 230/B, Street No. 03, in Shali Village. This is our New Delhi base for Vedanta Aluminium Ltd. Shali Village is one of those places that feels like a maze if you aren’t used to it. The streets are narrow, and there’s always something going on outside. It’s not like the big glass towers you see in other parts of Delhi. We’re tucked away in a more traditional neighborhood. Our office is a simple place where we keep track of the regional work. There are just a few of us here most days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through stacks of documents. It gets a bit crowded sometimes when we have deliveries coming in or going out, but we manage. The people living around Street No. 03 are our neighbors, so we try to keep the noise down and stay on good terms with everyone. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy lobby. It's just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of work to get through. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for it to come back, talking about the weather or local news. It’s a very grounded way to work. We just focus on the aluminium trade and making sure our part of the job is finished on time. We’ve been here a while and it suits us fine.
