Veda Restaurant

Veda Restaurant sits right in the middle of the madness at Connaught Place Outer Circle H/26/27. If you know CP, you know how hectic it gets. There’s always someone honking outside or a crowd of people rushing to catch the metro. Inside here, it’s a bit different, but still busy in its own way. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place together. Being in an older building like this has its challenges. The plumbing can be temperamental and the walls need constant touch-ups. But we like the character of the place. H/26/27 is a good spot, even if the parking is a nightmare for everyone. We see a mix of tourists who look lost and locals who could walk these streets blindfolded. Our days start way before the first customer arrives. There’s prep work, cleaning, and the inevitable morning meetings about what needs fixing. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook and serve. Some nights we’re exhausted and just want to go home, but then a regular comes in and we stay a bit longer. It’s a tough business, but we’ve stuck with it. Veda has become a part of our lives. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent restaurant in one of the busiest parts of the city. It’s loud, it’s fast, and it’s just our daily job.
