Our place is at 711/1 in Kotla Munarakpur. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but we’ve been here a long time. You can usually reach us on the mobile number if the landline is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. We are a small group of people working on local projects. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there at a desk. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly related to property and maintenance in the area. Kotla is a busy place, so there is always something going on right outside the door. It gets quite loud with the scooters and the people shouting. We don’t mind it much anymore. The office is small and the AC struggles in the middle of June. We just keep a few fans going. We have a small fridge for water and that’s about it for luxuries. Most of our work is done on the phone or out meeting people on site. We aren't big on meetings or long reports. We just try to get the tasks done so we can go home. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. If things get busy, we just work a bit faster. We know most of the shopkeepers on the street by name now. It feels like home to us here.
