Vally Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. is based up here in Delhi, specifically at 1/104 Nirankari Colony. It’s near Mukherjee Nagar, which is a place many people know for the students and the coaching centers. But back where we are, it’s more about the iron and steel business. Dealing with heavy metal like this isn't always pretty work. You get your hands dirty and the yard can get quite messy. It’s a tough business but we’ve been at it for a long time. The trucks come and go all day, and the sound of metal clanging is just part of the background noise for us. We aren't some polished office in a glass building. We are right there on the ground. Delhi weather doesn't make it any easier, with the freezing winters and the burning summers. But the staff here is used to it. We just get on with the orders. Sometimes the traffic in Nirankari Colony makes it hard for deliveries to arrive on time, but we manage. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings. We just check the stock, talk to the drivers, and make sure the steel goes where it needs to go. It’s a solid way to make a living. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the Delhi industrial scene, but we just keep doing our thing every single day.
