The area is quite crowded and the lanes are narrow, so it’s mostly a lot of walking and manual work here. We spend our days cutting, stitching, and finishing leather files. It’s a specific kind of work that requires a bit of patience. The smell of leather is something you just get used to after a day or two. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a workshop feel. We have a few benches set up and everyone has their own spot. The lighting isn't always the best, but we make do. We produce files for all kinds of offices and businesses. Most of our orders are bulk ones that we send out across the city. It’s a bit of a maze getting to our place if you aren't from around here.
