We are Usha Wire Netting Factory Ltd., and we operate out of 367-A in the Friends Colony Industrial Area. If you are coming down G. T. Road in Shahdara, you have to turn into Gali No-4 to find us. It’s a typical industrial zone where there is always noise from machines and trucks moving in and out. Our factory is where we make all our wire netting. It’s a loud place most of the time because the machines never really stop during the day. We’ve got stacks of wire and finished netting piled up, waiting to be sent out. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it serves our purpose well. We have been here for a long time and the workers know exactly what they are doing. We don't have a fancy reception area or a lot of staff in suits. Most of us are on the floor making sure the quality is okay and the machines are running right. It gets a bit dusty and the work is definitely hands-on. We just focus on the daily output and getting things delivered to where they need to go. Shahdara has always been a hub for this kind of work, and we are just one part of that long history. We keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand.
