University Of Delhi

This particular office of the University Of Delhi is located at B-83, on the first floor in New Gupta Colony. It’s right there in Kalyan Vihar, which is a fairly quiet spot compared to the main campus areas. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things here. It’s not a big fancy building with marble floors; it’s just a regular floor in a residential-looking block. We have stacks of files reaching the ceiling sometimes. Students and staff come by to drop off forms or ask about records. The stairs are a bit narrow, so it can get crowded when a lot of people show up at once. We usually have the fans going full blast because it gets stuffy with all the paper around. We aren't the ones teaching the classes; we just make sure the back-end stuff keeps moving. The neighborhood has a few tea stalls nearby where we go for breaks. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don't have any high-tech systems here, just old computers and a lot of pens. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. It feels more like a small neighborhood office than a giant university. We just try to help whoever walks through the door and keep the files in some kind of order. It's a lot of routine, but it's important for the whole system to function. The gate is sometimes tricky to open, but we are always inside working.
