If you go down to Main Bazar in Narela, right at number 244, that’s where we are. Universal Knitwears Export House has been part of the noise and bustle of the market for a good while. It’s always loud outside with people buying things and trucks moving, but inside we are focused on the knitwear we produce for export. It’s a lot of fabric, thread, and the sound of machines running. We aren't some sleek fashion house with a runway; it’s more of a place where people work hard to get the orders packed and ready for the containers. Some days the piles of stock are so high you can barely see across the room. We take the clothes we make seriously because they're going all over the place, but we are just regular folks doing the work. Narela is a busy spot, and being right in the bazar means we see everything that happens in the neighborhood. We’ve had the same people working here for years, and they know the rhythm of the place. It’s not always organized perfectly, and there’s always something that needs fixing, but the work gets done anyway. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. People know where we are, and we just keep the machines going to meet our deadlines for the season. It's a lot of work, but it keeps us busy and the neighborhood alive while we keep the shipments moving.
