Kumar Stitch Art

We are located down in Gali No. 22 in Tughlakabad Extension. It is a bit of a crowded area, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work. Our shop, Kumar Stitch Art, is at Rz- 1000. It is not a very big space, but we have enough room for the machines and the cutting table. Most days it is just the sound of the needles going and maybe a small radio playing in the corner if the reception is okay. We deal with all kinds of stitching here. Sometimes people bring in heavy curtains, other times it is just a simple repair on a shirt. The fabric scraps tend to pile up near the corners no matter how often we sweep them away. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. The light inside isn’t the best, so we usually keep the door open to let some sun in from the street. You can find us pretty easily if you know the landmark, but if it’s your first time in the lane, you might have to ask someone. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. We don’t really do fancy advertisements or anything. People just walk in because they live nearby or someone told them we do okay work. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we keep the work clean. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us here in this part of Tughlakabad.
