Our spot is at 202 Ashok Bhawan, over in Nehru Place. If you know Delhi, you know Nehru Place is basically a maze of electronics and people rushing around. Being at number 93, we are right in the thick of it. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s where we do our thing. We deal with integrations and technical setups, so there is always some kind of equipment spread out on the desks. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the hawkers and the traffic, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. There’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails about various technical issues. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to actually organize the spare parts bin, though it never stays organized for long. The light in the office is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we’ve got enough lamps to see what we are doing with the wiring. It’s a practical environment. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception desk that looks like a hotel. It’s just a place where we come to work, solve some problems, and then head home through the Nehru Place crowd. We’ve been here long enough to know the short cuts through the buildings to avoid the heaviest foot traffic.
