Trading & Transportation

Our setup is right in the middle of Shadi Khampur, over in West Patel Nagar. It’s a tight area, Res-2236, so finding a parking spot for the big vehicles is always a bit of a headache. We handle a lot of the trading and transportation needs for the local market and some further out. The office is right there in New Delhi-08, so we are pretty central to everything. There’s always someone coming or going, usually drivers checking their routes or people asking about deliveries. It gets pretty dusty with all the movement, and the office walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time for that. We focus on getting the trucks loaded and out on time. Sometimes the traffic in Delhi makes that almost impossible, but we do what we can. It’s a lot of manual logging and keeping track of where everything is at any given hour. We’ve lived and worked in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know all the shortcuts and the people around here. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of horns and people shouting directions. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a group of people who know how to move goods from one point to another without making a big fuss about it. We just keep the wheels turning and deal with whatever problems pop up during the day. It is a messy but necessary business for us to run.
