If you drive down Sulta Pur Mandi Road, you’ll eventually find us at number 6. It’s a bit of a dusty stretch of road, especially when the big trucks are moving through to the markets. Tinna Overseas Ltd. has been here for a bit, and the building is pretty functional without any extra bells or whistles. We have a yard area that gets quite hot in the summer sun, and the gate is usually kept open during the day for deliveries. Inside the main office, it’s mostly just practical furniture and stacks of files. We don’t have fancy carpets or anything like that. The floors are easy to sweep because of all the dirt that blows in from the road. Most of our day is spent coordinating with the drivers and checking on the stocks we have stored. It’s a lot of manual tracking and writing things down in ledgers. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or use the back-up. There’s a small tree near the entrance that provides a little shade for the security guard. We all know each other pretty well since it’s not a huge team on site. We usually finish up around six and try to beat the worst of the evening traffic heading back toward the city. It’s honest work and the location suits what we do perfectly for our daily operations.
