The Royal China

At Nehru Place Eros Intercontinental, you’ll find The Royal China. It’s a busy part of town, full of office buildings and people in a hurry. We see a lot of people in suits coming in for lunch, looking at their watches. It makes the energy in the room feel very fast. We have to keep up. The kitchen staff is usually moving at full speed from noon until we close. It gets pretty intense back there. Being located near the Eros Intercontinental means we get people from all over. Some are staying at the hotel and others just work in the nearby towers. We spend a lot of time making sure the tables are set just right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, or the air conditioning needs a technician to come out. We just deal with those little headaches as they happen. We aren’t trying to be something we’re not. This is just a restaurant where we work hard to get the food out on time. The Royal China has a certain feel to it, mostly because of the people who work here and the crowd that comes in. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just want to make sure the food is hot and the orders are right. That’s enough for us to worry about every day.
