Our spot for The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi Ufj Ltd. is over at B-90A in the Paryavaran Complex. It’s right on Ignou Road, just across from D Block in Saket. New Delhi is always a bit loud and fast, and this area is no different. You wouldn't think a big international name like this would be sitting right here, but here we are. The office isn't massive, but it fits us just fine. We spend most of our time dealing with numbers and looking out at the traffic moving toward Saket. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. We open up, check the mail, and get started on the documents. The tea stall nearby is where most of us end up during the break because their samosas are better than anything you'd get in a fancy cafeteria. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it hits forty degrees outside, but we manage. Being in South Delhi, we get all sorts of people walking in, mostly looking for specific things they can't find at smaller banks. It’s not all sleek marble and glass like the headquarters probably is. It’s more of a practical place where we just get through the pile of work on our desks. It’s a bit cramped with all the files sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’ve been in one spot for a while.
