Our office is located right in the heart of the Railway Colony in Delhi. It’s an interesting place to work because you can always hear the trains nearby and there is a lot of activity around the station. The building at 166/1 is a bit older, but it serves us well. We’ve been here for quite a while now. Most of the people working here have lived in Delhi their whole lives, so we know how to navigate the city's quirks. We do development work, which means a lot of paperwork and planning. It’s not always glamorous. We spend hours looking at charts and talking to contractors. Our office is a bit crowded with filing cabinets and stacks of maps. We don't go for the high-end office furniture or the fancy lobby. We just need a desk and a working lamp to get through the day. The heat in the summer can be tough, but we have our fans going and we keep at it. People from the neighborhood often walk by and wave. It feels like a very grounded, local operation even though we are part of a larger company. We don't bother with corporate talk. We just focus on the tasks we have for the week and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. It's a busy life here in the colony, but it’s a good one. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is required of us.
