Terex

Our office is at 1740 in the DA Flats in Gulabi Bagh. If you know Delhi-7, you know these residential blocks are pretty old and have a specific kind of character to them. Working for Terex from a flat might seem a bit unusual to some, but it works for us. We have converted the rooms into workspaces where we handle all the coordination for the heavy machinery and equipment side of things. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for the usual sounds of the city outside. There are no big signs or flashing lights to show where we are. We just have our desks set up near the windows to get some natural light. Most of the day is spent on the phone or on the computer, tracking where our machines are and what parts need to be sent out. The kitchen area is mostly used for making tea and coffee, which we drink a lot of throughout the day. It feels more like a home than an office, which actually makes the long hours a bit more tolerable. We have a lot of history in these rooms, with folders dating back years stored in the cupboards. It’s a practical setup for a small team that knows exactly what they need to do. We don't have any corporate protocols about how to sit or what to wear, we just focus on getting the work done right.
