We are located at Number 2402 in Gali Pahiya Wali, which is part of the Teliwara area. It is a very crowded part of town, and the lanes are narrow, so getting large things in and out is always a bit of a struggle. You have to know the shortcuts through Ambekar Road to get here without getting stuck in traffic for an hour. Our place is near Wadala Udyog Bhavanwadala, so there is always a lot of industrial activity happening nearby. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep, so we all have strong legs from climbing them ten times a day. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and old wooden desks. We keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through the alley, even if it brings in a bit of dust. It’s a simple operation where we focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the numbers in the book match what’s on the floor. There is no big sign outside, just a small one that most people miss the first time they visit. We eat lunch together in the small back room, usually bringing tiffins from home. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the trucks are loading nearby, but it feels like home to us. We just keep moving and doing what needs to be done every single day until it's time to lock up.
