Techno Concrete

Our place is over in Mayur Vihar Phase-3, tucked away in Pocket A-3 at 31-GG. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze back here with all the trucks and materials coming in and out. Delhi is always building something new, so there’s usually plenty of noise around us. We deal with concrete, which is heavy and messy work if you’re not careful. The yard gets covered in grey dust no matter how much we try to sweep it up. It’s just part of the life. We’ve been at this for a while now, sitting in this small corner of East Delhi. People stop by asking about prices or looking for a delivery, and we just tell them how it is. No fancy brochures here, just some scratched-up clipboards and a few sturdy chairs for when the sun gets too hot. The summers are the worst part, the heat coming off the pavement makes the work twice as hard. But we’ve got a good group of guys who don’t complain much. We know the roads around Delhi-96 like the back of our hand, avoiding the worst traffic spots when we can. It’s not the quietest job, but it’s steady. We keep the machines running and the mixtures right, and that’s enough to keep us busy from sunrise to sunset. We aren't looking to change the world, just to get the concrete poured. It's a living.
