Tata Motors

This branch of Tata Motors is actually located out in Mundi village in the Rewari district of Haryana. Specifically, we are at the place of Ghanshyam, who is the son of Jaikishan. It’s a very traditional VPO-Mundi setting, which means things are a bit slower and more personal than in a big city office. You won't see any skyscrapers around here, just fields and local houses. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s a nice change of pace. We handle things for the motors department right from this spot. It’s basically just a room with some basic furniture where we keep our records. Most people who come by are locals from the village or nearby areas. We don't have any fancy signage or a big parking lot. You just park where you can find a spot on the dirt road. The air is a bit cleaner here, though it gets very dusty when the tractors go by during harvest. We spend our days talking to people and making sure the local logistics are sorted out. It’s an honest way to work, and we know almost everyone who walks through the door. There’s no corporate hierarchy here; we just help each other out and get the job done. Sometimes we sit outside if the weather is nice. It’s a simple, practical setup that works for this part of Haryana.
