Tantia Constructions

Our spot in Delhi is located at 1453 Wazir Nagar. It’s right in the middle of everything, which is both good and bad. The traffic is a nightmare most of the time, so getting our equipment across the city is a major part of the daily struggle. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got a couple of computers that are a few years old and a lot of binders full of technical specs and safety rules. It’s always a bit dusty because of the constant construction work going on in the neighborhood. We don’t really bother with much in the way of comfort. As long as the fans are working and the tea is hot, we’re fine. The crew is a mix of old-timers and some younger guys learning the ropes. We do a lot of talking about concrete mixes and steel reinforcements. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. By the end of the shift, everyone looks pretty worn out. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the sheer volume of work makes the office look like a disaster zone. We just keep pushing through the projects, trying to stay ahead of the deadlines. It’s a tough city to work in, but we’ve been at it long enough to know the shortcuts and how to deal with the local authorities. There is always more to do, and we just handle it.
