Our place is at 189-E.W.S.-Barra-5 in Kanpur. We are the local link for the Surya Roshni Ltd. Steel Division that is headquartered in Bahadurgarh. Kanpur is a big, busy city, and being in Barra-5 keeps us right in the middle of things. The office isn't anything fancy; it’s an E.W.S. unit that we have converted into a workspace. It gets the job done for us. We have enough room for a few desks and our filing cabinets. The streets outside can be quite packed with traffic and people going about their business. We focus on the local logistics and coordination for the steel side of the company. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking on schedules. We don't have a corporate lobby or a big reception area. Most of the time, we are just sitting at our desks with a cup of tea, trying to stay ahead of the paperwork. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We know the other business owners on the block, and it feels like a real community. There is no corporate polish here, just honest work and a lot of daily hustle. We like being based in Kanpur because there is always something happening around us. It is a simple, hardworking office for a hardworking city and we are glad to be a small part of it all.
