Suroor

Suroor is based out of No. 32-e on Ashoka Avenue in Sainik Farms. It’s a bit of a greener part of town, so it’s much quieter than being in the middle of a market. We have a little bit of space here where we handle our daily tasks. It’s not a huge operation with hundreds of employees, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The house number is easy to find if you’re driving down Ashoka Avenue. We chose this spot because it feels a bit more relaxed, and it gives us room to think. We spend our mornings going through emails and checking on our projects. Since we are in Sainik Farms, the pace is a little different than the rest of Delhi. We don't have walk-in customers all the time, which is fine by us. It lets us focus on what we’re actually making or selling. Sometimes the trees along the road make it feel like we’re not even in the city. We’ve set up our workspace to be comfortable but functional. There's a lot of paper on the desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don't go for anything too flashy. We just want to do our job and go home at the end of the day. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors don't mind our coming and going.
