Suhagan Bangles

Suhagan Bangles is located at No. 16 in the Swadeshi Market within Sadar Bazar. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how hectic it gets. There are people everywhere and everyone is in a hurry. Our shop is right in the middle of all that. It’s a small shop, but we pack it full. Boxes are everywhere, sometimes even on the floor when a new shipment comes in. Swadeshi Market is a tight space, so you have to be careful when walking. We have been here for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent unpacking and packing things back up. It gets really loud outside with all the carts and people shouting, but you get used to it after a week or two. Space is limited, so staying organized is a must. It’s not a fancy place with carpets or nice chairs. It’s just a place of work. Our neighbors are good people and we often share tea in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going with flashlights. No one here tries to be something they aren't. We just sell bangles and try to keep up with the crowd in the market. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy crates and such. But it is what we do here at No. 16. We just keep the doors open and get through the day's work one box at a time.
