Giriraj Traders

You can find Giriraj Traders over at 3132 Arya Pura, which is right by the Subzi Mandi on Roshanara Road. It’s a very loud and busy part of town because of the vegetable market. There are always trucks and carts moving around, and the smell of fresh produce is everywhere. Our building is quite old and has that lived-in feel to it. We deal in various trading goods that people in the area need for their shops or homes. Inside, we have bags and crates stacked up high, sometimes almost reaching the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze to walk through if you don't know where things are kept. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that buzz while they spin. The air is often thick with dust from the road and the goods we move. We spend our days loading and unloading items and keeping track of our stock in big paper ledgers. It’s physical work and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been part of this market community for a long time and we know the other traders around Roshanara Road quite well. We don’t use any complicated business strategies. We just buy what we need to buy and sell it to those who need it. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a very busy part of the city. We just keep moving forward.
