Storekeeper

I'm Mikky Vidhyadharan, and I mostly spend my days over at G-124 in Shakkurpur. Being a storekeeper here means there's always something to move around or check on. Shakkurpur is a crowded place, and this building is no different. It’s not fancy or anything, just a regular spot where stuff gets stored and sorted. Usually, it's just me keeping track of the boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the neighbors stop by or someone gets lost looking for another block. It gets a bit dusty in the summer, and the light in the back corner flickers sometimes, but I know where everything is kept. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and the routine is what keeps things moving. You wouldn’t think a storekeeper’s life is very busy, but there’s always a delivery coming in or someone needing a specific part from a shelf I haven't touched in weeks. I keep my notebook handy to write things down because my memory isn't what it used to be. The street outside is usually full of noise, which I’ve gotten used to over the years. It's just a practical setup for the work we do. There's nothing complicated about it, really. I just open up the gate, check the lists, and get to it. Some days are slow, while others have me running around until the sun goes down. That’s just how it goes at G-124 and I'm fine with it. It’s my little world and it works for me.
