Steward

Most people just know me by the phone number 9212028683. I’ve been doing this steward work for a while now. It’s not a big company with a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just me and this phone. Sometimes it rings early in the morning, and other times I’m picking up calls late at night when most folks are already asleep. I don't have a website or a big sign outside. If you need someone to help out, you just call the number. That’s how it works here. I spend a lot of time waiting for the next job to come through. It can get a bit quiet sometimes, but then suddenly three people call at once and I'm running around. It’s a lot of walking and staying on my feet. My shoes get worn out pretty fast, honestly. I try to keep things simple. No fancy talk, just doing what needs to be done. It's hard work, and sometimes the weather isn't great, but it pays the bills. People in the area know the number and they pass it around. I don't spend money on ads. Just word of mouth and this old phone. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s what I do. I make sure I’m available when someone calls. That’s about all there is to it. No big mystery here, just a guy and his work.
