Spoons Bistro

Our little spot is at Masjid Moth 3 in Greater Kailash II. It’s not a huge place, so it feels a bit tight when we have a few tables filled up. We do a lot of the work ourselves, from taking orders to making the coffee. The kitchen is right there, so you can hear us working. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us here in GK II trying to keep the place running. Some days are slow and we just sit around cleaning the glass or reorganizing the pantry. Other days, everyone comes in at once and it’s a bit of a mess for a while. We use basic ingredients and try to keep the menu manageable. The building has some character, though sometimes the plumbing is a bit of a headache. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make the food and hope people like it enough to come back. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, but the parking can be a real pain for anyone coming by car. We just show up, open the shutters, and get the stove hot. It’s a simple way to spend the day, really. We usually spend the last hour of the shift just cleaning up the counters and getting the coffee machine ready for the next morning. Sometimes we stay late just to get the floor extra clean for the next day.
