Spice

Being located near Tivoli Garden is nice because there is at least a bit of greenery around, but Rajpur Extension is still quite packed with buildings. Our spot at D-28/1 isn't too hard for people to find once they get off the main road and find the right lane. The street gets a bit dusty in the summer months, which is just how things are in New Delhi. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too strong and the heat becomes unbearable. There is a small tea shop at the corner where we all hang out for a bit in the morning. Inside our space, it is just simple desks and chairs and a lot of paper stacked up. We do not have a fancy reception area or a lobby with a guard. It is mostly just us working through whatever tasks came in the day before. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions because of the garden nearby. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the files and folders, it is a bit of a struggle most weeks. The windows do not let in much natural light, so we keep the overhead lamps on all day. It is quiet enough for us to get things done without too much distraction from the street. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We have been in this specific spot for a few years now and it feels familiar.
