Living and working in Jai Parkash Nagar means we know the neighborhood pretty well. SMS Trading Company is tucked away in Gali No. 3 at J21/5. It’s not always easy to find if you aren’t from around Ghonda, but once you’re here, you’ll see we stay pretty busy. We deal with all sorts of trading goods. It’s mostly about moving boxes and keeping track of orders coming in and going out. The office isn't anything special, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to delivery drivers who get lost in the narrow lanes. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains, but we manage. We aren’t looking to become some massive global firm; we just want to keep things running smoothly right here in Ghonda. You might see us having tea outside the shop while we wait for a truck. We’ve been at this address for a good while now. Our neighbors know us, and we know them. It’s a tight-knit place. Every day is a bit different, depending on what shipments arrive. We just focus on getting the right items to the right people without making a big deal out of it. It’s practical work for practical people. Some days the logistics get messy, but we figure it out eventually. We don't use fancy software, just notebooks and memory. It works for us and the people who buy from us.
