We’re located at Plot No-389 in Sector-47, Gurgawn. This area has changed so much since we first started Smcc Construction India Ltd. It used to be much quieter, but now it’s all big buildings and traffic. We’ve stayed here because it’s a good spot to reach our different project sites. The office is where we handle the logistics. Construction is mostly just moving things from one place to another and putting them together correctly. It sounds easy but it never is. We deal with architects, city inspectors, and labor crews every single day. There is always a lot of paperwork that needs signing. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people find us through word of mouth. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The office can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We usually have maps pinned to the walls and samples of tiles or bricks laying around. It’s a messy business, but we like it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Haryana. We just want to do a decent job and keep our crews working. Every project has its own set of headaches, but we’ve seen enough of them to not get too worked up anymore. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on the weather forecasts. We stay busy.
