You can find us at G 157 in Sector Beta II. It’s a decent spot in Greater Noida, and we've been here long enough to see the whole district of G. B. Nagar change. Smcc Construction India Limited is basically run from this house. It’s a bit more personal that way, working out of a residential area. We have our desks set up and the walls are usually covered in blueprints and schedules. Construction work is never really finished; there’s always a new phase starting or a final inspection to get through. We spend a lot of time on our feet or driving between different sites. The office is where we regroup and try to make sense of the budget. It gets dusty, and the files pile up, but we know where everything is. People in the sector know us as the guys who are always talking about bricks and cement. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working through a stack of invoices or arguing over a timeline. It is honest work, even if it’s stressful sometimes. We try to keep things simple. If a problem comes up at a site, we deal with it there. The office is just our base of operations. We like it here in Beta II because it's central for us. We just keep our heads down and work. It isn't always pretty but we get through the day.
