S.L. Components

I’ve been working out of Shop No. 286 for quite a while now. If you know Old Lajpat Rai Market, you know how it gets during the middle of the day. It’s always crowded and there’s always something going on right outside the door. S.L. Components is just a regular spot here where we keep all the parts and pieces sorted. I spend a lot of time moving boxes around or trying to find that one specific component someone is asking for. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a workspace filled with shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the foot traffic in the market, but that’s just how it is around here. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. Most days are the same, just handling whatever comes in and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lists and keeping track of what’s in stock at the shop. People come and go, asking about this or that, and I just try to keep things organized. It’s a busy life at Shop No. 286, but it’s what we do. There isn’t much space to move around when we get a big delivery, but we manage to make it work. Just a local shop doing its thing in the heart of the market every single day without much fuss.
