Simplex Infrastructures Ltd.

Our little corner of the world is N-191 in Sector-8, R.K. Puram. It’s a residential-feeling area in New Delhi, and that’s where Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. keeps its local office. It’s not one of those huge towers you see in the city center. It’s much more modest than that. We’ve got a couple of rooms filled with computers and stacks of documents. Most of the time, the air conditioner is humming, and someone is trying to find a misplaced file. It’s a busy place because there’s always something to do in a city like Delhi. We spend a lot of time on the phone dealing with the authorities or checking in on our workers. The traffic around here can be a real headache, so we try to plan our site visits carefully. We aren't here to sell you anything or make big promises. We just manage the projects that are assigned to us. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make our own coffee and lunch. It’s very much a working environment without any frills. We know the local postman and the guy who sells snacks at the corner. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while, and it works for us. It’s just a place where people work hard and try to stay on top of a very long to-do list every single day. We are just getting by and doing our best.
