We are over at 37D S.N. Banerjee Road in Kolkata. This is a very central spot, so there is always a lot of energy and noise outside our doors. The building has been here for a long time and so have we. We manage various infrastructure projects for Simplex Infrastructures Limited from this office. It is a place filled with the smell of old paper and the sound of keyboards. We don't have a polished look. It is a functional space for people who work in construction. Our desks are covered in blueprints and site reports. We deal with all the logistics that come with big building projects. It is a lot of back-and-forth with the guys on the ground. Being on S.N. Banerjee Road means we are easy to reach, even if the traffic is a nightmare. We’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our windows. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most of our work comes from our reputation for just getting things finished. We have a team that’s been around the block a few times. They know their stuff and don't need a mission statement to tell them how to do it. It is just a regular office where we do the work of building the city’s infrastructure. No frills, just business as usual. We keep things simple and focus on the engineering.
