You can find us over at 188 G on Salvation Army Road. It’s in the Civil Line area of Bareilly, which is a fairly well-known part of the city. The office is situated in a way that’s easy enough to spot if you’re looking for the Salvation Army landmark. We’ve been working out of this space for quite some time. It’s an old-school kind of place with high ceilings and some fans that have been around forever. We handle various development projects from here. There is always a lot of coming and going during the day. Sometimes we sit out on the porch when it’s not too hot to discuss the latest plans. The road outside can get a bit noisy with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. It’s not a shiny new building, but it serves us well. We keep our records in big wooden cupboards and try to stay on top of all the letters and notices that come in. Bareilly is a place where people still like to talk face to face, so we get visitors quite often. We just offer them a seat and talk through whatever needs doing. It’s just a regular local office. We don't bother with a lot of decorations or anything like that. We are just here doing the work every day. The environment is relaxed and we like that it's not too formal.
