Over in Shastri Nagar, specifically at E-335/1 here in Meerut, you will find our small operation. Shree Cement Ltd. is the name on the door, but mostly we are just the local guys people call when they are building something in the neighborhood. The office isn't anything special to look at. It has some chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up on a wooden desk. Dealing with cement means there is always a bit of grey dust on the floor no matter how much we sweep it out. It is honest work. Meerut is a busy place, and there’s always someone fixing a wall or starting a new floor in their home. We get the trucks in, we get them out. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes things slow, but that is just life in this part of town. We don’t do big speeches or have a glossy brochure to show you. If you need cement, you come by Shastri Nagar and talk to us. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. Most of the regulars know exactly where the turn is. It gets loud when the deliveries arrive, but the neighbors are used to the sound of the engines by now. It’s just us doing our thing every day, making sure the supply is there for whoever needs it. No frills, just bags of cement and some hard work.
