We are located at L-Ii, 53-B, on the 3rd floor of a DDA flat in Kakaji. Being on the third floor means a lot of steps every day, which is one way to stay active, I guess. The flat is a typical DDA design, very functional and no-frills. We’ve turned it into our working area over the years. It’s not some sleek office in a corporate park. It’s a homey space where we sit and handle our business. Kakaji is a bustling neighborhood with a lot of history and a lot of people. You can always hear the activity from the street below. Our desks are usually piled high with folders and paperwork. We don't really have a fancy decor or a brand-new interior. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy to get around to it. Most of our clients come to us because they know the area well. We like the fact that we’re in a residential block; it makes the whole work day feel a bit more relaxed than a cold office building. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone. Sometimes the water pump makes a racket or the mail gets delivered to the wrong floor, but we just deal with it. It’s a simple, honest setup in a busy part of Delhi.
