We’re situated in Village Chhapur, which is under Post-Khubbanpur in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand. Sazid Ali, who is the son of the late Shri Mohd Hanif, runs the operations here. Even though the name says New Delhi, a lot of our actual ground work happens right here in the local area and surrounding districts. It's a bit of a mix of being a private limited company but still having that small-town feel. We spend our time managing different sites and making sure the laborers have what they need. Contracting is a tough business because there are always surprises. You might find out the ground isn't as firm as you thought or the supplies are stuck somewhere. We just handle it as it comes. We aren't into big marketing campaigns. Most of our work comes from people who have seen our previous jobs in the villages nearby. Our office is a simple place where we keep the records and meet with people to discuss their plans. It's not about being the biggest company, just about doing the work properly. We’ve grown up in this environment and understand how things work in this part of the country. Every day is a bit different, which keeps things interesting. Whether it's a small repair or a larger building project, we approach it with the same practical mindset. We just keep our tools sharp and our eyes on the progress of the day.
