We’ve been here in Najafgarh at House No. 45 for a while now. It’s a busy spot in N-Block, right in Gopalnagar Extension. If you know the Nanak Paiyu-Ii area, you know how it gets with the morning traffic and all. We basically handle the hospitality side of things for Shanti Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls, just a regular place where we get the work done. The team here is small, mostly locals who live nearby and walk to work. We spend a lot of time on the phones and dealing with the day-to-day stuff that comes with running this kind of business. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic, especially when the internet goes out or when there’s a big event we’re prepping for. We drink a lot of tea while we sort out the bookings and manage the logistics. It’s a lot of practical work, not the kind of stuff you see in movies. We just focus on making sure the guests have what they need and that the rooms are ready. Najafgarh is a bit far out from central Delhi, so it has its own pace. We like it here because it feels like a real neighborhood. We’ve seen the area change over the years, more shops popping up and the roads getting wider. We just keep our heads down and keep moving. No big corporate speeches here, just people trying to do a decent job every day and hopefully getting home in time for dinner.
