Shri Balaji Trading Co.

We are located over at B-62 in Gali No. 8, right in Shalimar Village. It’s a pretty busy area, especially being so close to Indira Park. Shri Balaji Trading Co. is basically a place where we move goods in and out all day. There’s always a truck or a cart nearby getting loaded up. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. Usually, the fans are just humming away while we check the manifests and count the stock. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more worried about getting the orders right than how the building looks from the outside. Trading is a lot of paperwork and a lot of physical moving of boxes. We have a few desks and some old ledgers. People from the village walk by and say hello, and we know most of the other business owners on Gali No. 8. It’s a practical way to make a living. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, do the trading that needs to be done, and close up when the work is finished. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet throughout the week. If you’re looking for us, we’re just the regular-looking building near the park with all the activity going on. It’s not fancy, but it is where we have been for years.
