Jain Plastic Works

Jain Plastic Works is located at No. 9/ 52 Street No. 2 within the Industrial Area of Shalimar Village. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for a good while now. It’s a busy little corner of the world, and the street is usually packed with trucks and delivery vans throughout the day. Working with plastic involves a lot of noise and heat, but we’re used to it. Our workshop isn't anything fancy to look at. We have the machines lined up on the concrete floor and a small area for packing things up. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend hours getting them back in order. It’s just me and a few local workers who live nearby. We usually have tea together in the afternoons when the sun is at its hottest. Shalimar Village has grown a lot, and there are workshops everywhere you look now. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find our door since Street No. 2 is tucked away, but we’ve got a small sign up. We don't have a big office or a secretary to answer the phones. Usually, one of us just wipes the grease off our hands and picks up the mobile when it rings. We focus on getting the work done and making sure the crates are ready for pickup. It's a plain, honest way to make a living, and we just keep at it day after day.
