My Princess India Ltd.

The office for My Princess India is on the third floor of 22-A in Kamla Nagar, right near Shakti Nagar. It’s a busy part of Delhi, so the streets are always full of people and rickshaws. To get to us, you have to walk up a few flights of stairs which can be a bit tiring in the heat. Once you are inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of fabric samples scattered around. We handle the business side of things here, like talking to the people who make the dresses and organizing the shipments to different stores. It’s not a retail shop, so we don't have customers walking in off the street to buy things. It’s more of a place where we do the planning and the paperwork. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and eat our lunch together. The walls are covered with sketches and order forms. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we are trying to meet a deadline for a new collection, but we usually manage to get it sorted. The building is older, so the plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes, but we make do. We’ve been in this Kamla Nagar spot for a while and it’s a good central place for us to be, even if the parking is a nightmare. We just focus on our daily tasks and keeping the production on schedule.
