Fabrics India

We are based in Shakti Nagar, specifically at 17/36 in Block 17. Fabrics India is a small operation, really. It is just a bunch of us surrounded by cloth all day long. The neighborhood is full of small businesses like ours, so there is a lot of activity on the street. We have got shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with different types of fabrics. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific roll, but we usually know where everything is hidden. The air smells like cotton and dust most of the time. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy brochures. We just talk to the people who come in and show them what we have available. It is a simple way to do business. The building is a bit old and the stairs are narrow, so moving heavy loads can be a bit of a workout. We do not mind it much. It is just part of the daily routine. Most of our days are spent cutting, measuring, and packing. We have a small radio that plays in the background to keep the mood light. It is not the most modern setup you will find, but it works for us. We just try to stay honest and get the fabric out to whoever needs it without making a big fuss about it. That is the way it has always been here.
