Jai Padmawati Timber Traders

We are Jai Padmawati Timber Traders and our yard is right on Loni Road. You can’t really miss us because we are directly opposite Tikona Park. There’s a lot of wood stacked up most days, so that’s a giveaway. Shahdara is a busy place, and being near the park makes it a bit easier to give directions to people coming from further away. We deal with all kinds of timber, mostly for building and local carpentry work. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by lunch. We’ve been at this location for a long time. The office is just a small room near the gate where we keep the records and handle the payments. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop. People come by to see the wood for themselves before they buy it, which makes sense to me. You want to see what you’re paying for. The traffic on Loni Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our loading done early in the morning. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we just focus on having the wood people need when they need it. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We see a lot of familiar faces from the local construction sites and furniture shops. Every day is about moving logs and boards to where they need to go. That's really all there is to it. We just keep the yard organized and ready.
